Which billing programs can Connectax be integrated with?

Practically with all of them. If your current billing software is not suitable for real-time data supply, it does not have to be replaced as Connectax can be used with any billing software that meets three important technical requirements.

  1. Your program has to be able to produce invoices in XML format that is required by the tax authority.
  2. Do this in a fully automated manner at the time the invoice is closed.
  3. You can store this XML file in a remote, dedicated Connectax storage area, which will trigger the billing report, indicating the request for data supply.
Our billing program/ERP is currently not able to generate the XML document required by the tax authority, what kind of assistance could we receive for this?

Can I also comply with the statutory regulations with a cloud-based external data supply module?

Yes, as it also confirmed by the Hungarian Tax Authority if the billing program and the data supply module both meet the criteria of promptness, automated real-time invoice data supply and manual intervention is excluded. The decree allows the use of a data supply module supplied by an external third party and also enables cloud-based data supply.

Who is responsible for ensuring that all invoices are reported according to legislation?

The Connectax team has built its service on shared responsibility. The billing program and its operator is responsible for generating the XML documents when the invoices are issued in the manner set out in the Online Invoicing Decree and for forwarding them to Connectax.

Connectax is responsible for sending the successfully received invoice XML documents to the tax authority in accordance with the requirements specified in the Online Invoicing Decree and to store and process the data generated during the forwarding process.

What are the data security risks if I outsource the data supply module to the cloud?

With adequate security measures, the risks are practically negligible. The Connectax technical team maintains an IT background, which is as secure as using a billing program connected to a network and the internet and uses precautionary measures.
